Westside Model Company Southern Pacific Class AC-4 Cab Forward 4-8-8-2 Locomotive and tender made in Japan by Katsumi and imported in 1977. The model is in great mechanical condition; it runs smooth and quiet. It has Sagami can motor and upgraded drivelines. Wheels show use wear, some plating is worn and brass has tarnish. Box has corner wear and has been repaired with tape. Reboxx foam and wraps. Model will be additionally supported in box and packed with care due to size and weight. Lots of original foam has lost its memory or is deteriorating and will not serve its intended purpose. I replace or remove inferior foam as needed, use additional padding, and wrap with plenty of bubble wrap and air pillows. I use oversized boxes with all seams taped ensuring that you don’t receive a box of “parts”. I pay special attention to my brass items, as many have been cherished for decades, were handmade, and deserve to remain a part of modeling history. Thanks for looking at Cherry Picked Trains! A couple of notes. This will alert me to invoice you with an adjusted total. I take packing seriously! I use bubble wrap, plenty of packing material, and sturdy boxes. Vintage HO Scale BRASS Samhongsa S2 4-8-4 Great Northern. Please look at pics closely , you will know more about these than I do. Some of these have been in the closet for 30 or 40 years. I have no way of testing them. This one has a loose piece , (see pics) and two fine wires on top are loose. Please look it over , it might be missing a detail or something, I simply dont know. These were all in boxes in my grandfathers closet. Some of these were in glass display cases which lined the walls of his hobby room. I do not no anything about them other than he had a lot of them. Here’s a train engine and tender that were made by Fujiyama. Brass steam engine and tender that is the Southern Pacific – Texas & New Orleans Class E-23, 4-4-0. HO scale in the original box. The box was marked December 26,1967 when it was first recieved. They have never been run, just out of the box maybe a couple time, to look at and to take the photos. This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent. This brass engine showcases exquisite detail! This item has been professionally painted by Heywood Studios. The shell has been removed. Stripped the gear box of dried grease and lubricate. Cleaned the wheels on the tender and the tender body/truck contacts. There is a loose trim piece on the roof that connects to the bell. There is some lightly chipped paint. Even though there are some minor imperfections, this brass locomotive and tender will make an impressive addition to any collection!
