This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent. This item features exquisite detail. Re-installed the universal coupling of the front line assembly to the main. If it comes out, remove the front drive shoulder screws and re-insert with tweezers. Cleaned the tender truck/body contacts. Added a tension spring to the drawbar. There are a couple of spots of faintly chipped paint. There are a few minor blemishes on the roof of the tender. Even though there are a couple of minor imperfections, this brass locomotive and tender will make an impressive addition to any collection. The original box is included. Check the photos for. Williams O Scale Southern Pacific 2-8-8-4 Cab Forward #7002 Brass Boiler Runs, OB. Made by Samhongsa in Korea for Williams. The overall condition is very good. Tested by a Lionel ZW transformer from the 1950’s on a relatively short straight track and runs well. All brass boiler construction. The tender is missing the ladder from the back. It does not list a sound system on the box in the specs however it does make chugging and bell sounds which are a little static. It starts with the bell noise and then starts the chugging noise. This may be all the sounds it makes. The loco has a rub mark and a small scratch on the cab roof and there is a small rub mark on the cab forward platform base under the boiler front. (see photos) Missing one traction tire and the rest are worn and may need replacing. Very nice, detailed engine. Could use a good lubrication and more cleaning. The original box has shelf wear and a crunch on the top seam. The styrofoam had been modified inside the box by a previous owner. NJ Custom Brass HO Scale Reading 4-6-0 Class L7sb Camelback

NJ Custom Brass Reading 4-6-0 Class L7sb locomotive and tender made by KSM in Korea and imported in 1982. Model has a replacement gear box with torque arm and Sagami can motor. It runs smooth and quiet in both directions and is mechanically solid. Model was previously painted and had modifications for sound. Model was stripped and has tarnished. Holes were added in locomotive behind headlight and under rear deck for wiring, and in tender bottom for sound. The fireman side step is missing from pilot. Original box has taped corners and replaced foam. Lots of original foam has lost its memory or is deteriorating and will not serve its intended purpose. I replace or remove inferior foam as needed, use additional padding, water proof, and wrap with plenty of bubble wrap and air pillows. I use oversized boxes with all seams taped ensuring that you don’t receive a box of “parts”. I pay special attention to my brass items, as many have been cherished for decades, were handmade, and deserve to remain a part of modeling history. Thanks for looking at Cherry Picked Trains! A couple of notes. This will alert me to invoice you with an adjusted total. I take packing seriously! I use bubble wrap, plenty of packing material, and sturdy boxes.
