16mm Scale Accucraft Forney 2-4-4T Live Steam Locomotive 45mm Gauge LGB Railway
Here we a Accucraft Live Steam 2-4-4 Forney Locomotive in 45mm Gauge (G Gauge). This locomotive is in excellent condition and has had barely any use since purchasing. It has a Busybodies figure glued in the cab along with a coal load in the bunker. It has also had nameplates added to the cab sides which read “AVA”. I have run it 3 or 4 times, otherwise it has had a quiet life on display in a cabinet. I believe this loco was only avalible in the USA other than a handful that were imported. Scale/Gauge: 1:20.3 Scale/ 45mm Gauge. Total Weight: 2.7 kg, 4.6 lbs. Length: 368.3mm, 14.5 in. Width: 114.3mm, 4.5 in. Height: 152.4 mm, 6 in. Minimum Radius: 1.2 M, 48 in. Valve Gear: Simple eccentric. Water Capacity: 80 cc. Working Pressure: 40 PSI. Fittings: Safety valve, water filler valve, throttle. There is no box present but it will however be posted in a strong box with plenty of bubble wrap. O Scale 2 Rail brass unpainted KTM NYC Niagara 4-8-4. Original Box
On offer is a KTM/U. It would appear from inspection this piece has never been assembled. There is no wear on the wheels. The parts bags are unopened, you can tell as the original staples haven’t been tampered with. There are 3 loose pieces which should be attached, shown in the 1st photo. Otherwise the body work of both locomotive and tender looks nice and tight, I can’t see anything that is bent/broken. A bench test shows the motor /drive train runs smooth and draws just under 1A. The frame is stamped 4305, this matched the label on the box, so all things being equal, the box is original and in good condition with the usual scuffs from shelf storage.
