Locomotive has been custom painted and looks good. Paint is in good condition with a few very small chips. Model runs well, I would rate the running noise at 6 with 1 being quietest, and 10 being loudest. Wheels show light wear, plating looks good. Original box and foam in good condition, box has wear on corners. Lots of original foam has lost its memory or is deteriorating and will not serve its intended purpose. I replace or remove inferior foam, use additional padding, water proof, and wrap with plenty of bubble wrap and air pillows as needed. I use oversized boxes with all seams taped ensuring that you don’t receive a box of “parts”. I pay special attention to my brass items, as many have been cherished for decades, were handmade, and deserve to remain a part of modeling history. Thanks for looking at Cherry Picked Trains!
