Sunset Models Norfolk & Western 4-8-4 Unstreamlined J Class made in Korea by Samhongsa and imported in 1983. Model is in excellent condition with a few finish flaws. Model has can motor with torque arm and runs excellently. Model has excellent detail including backhead, deckplate, working cab vents, and retractable pilot coupler. Original box and foam are in good shape, box has a few small white paint splatters. Box includes parts pack and nut driver tool. Lots of original foam has lost its memory or is deteriorating and will not serve its intended purpose. I replace or remove inferior foam as needed, use additional padding, water proof, and wrap with plenty of bubble wrap and air pillows. I use oversized boxes with all seams taped ensuring that you don’t receive a box of “parts”. I pay special attention to my brass items, as many have been cherished for decades, were handmade, and deserve to remain a part of modeling history. Thanks for looking at Cherry Picked Trains!
