Lambert Associates Pennsylvania Railroad Class H-6sb 2-8-0 Consolidation made by Cab in Japan in 1975. Locomotive is unpainted and in good condition. There are some small spots of light tarnish and a fingerprint on rear of tender. Tested and runs well, shows light wheel wear. Lots of original foam has lost its memory or is deteriorating and will not serve its intended purpose. I replace or remove inferior foam, use additional padding, water proof, and wrap with plenty of bubble wrap and air pillows as needed. I use oversized boxes with all seams taped ensuring that you don’t receive a box of “parts”. I pay special attention to my brass items, as many have been cherished for decades, were handmade, and deserve to remain a part of modeling history. Thanks for looking at Cherry Picked Trains! A couple of notes. This will alert me to invoice you with an adjusted total. I take packing seriously! I use bubble wrap, plenty of packing material, and sturdy boxes. HO Scale Brass Sunset Models PRR 2-8-0 Class H-8 Steam Engine Unpainted EC. This is a beautifully preserved model in excellent aesthetic condition. He collected them for over 50 years, but never had a train setup actually running, so these have just been in their respective boxes in large plastic bins in a storage unit for at least two or three decades, possibly 50 years, depending on when each was collected. Occasionally he would take them out and he would tell me (as a child) about them. So I say all that to say he has passed away and to my knowledge, he never ran them. The locomotive is operational we did not test the smoke function. The only damage we could find was on the coal car the rear ladder appears to be missing one side of the upper loop clearly shown in photo’s. The entire thing is brass and it is again all there. The original box and packaging is in very good condition with no rips or tears in the box, and only few minor scuffs here and there. It reads “Rio Grande HOn3 2-8-0 K-27″. As for condition again we are not experts and we have done our best to provide photo’s of the item for you to make your decision. HO-scale brass SIERRA RAILWAY 18. 2-8-0 Baldwin 29790 steam locomotive and tender. Made in Japan and imported by North West Short Line , 1974. The loco features automatic drawbar, removable cab (as stated on the label – we have not tried it), pre-blackened frame, and sprung drivers. It is like new and appears to have only been test run. The engine was tested and ran well, but will need a good lube as it has likely been in storage for years. Please examine the photos as they are parts of the description.
