Pearse Live Steam 0-6-0 Locomotive Genesis 16mm 0 Scale
Pearse Locomotives – Genesis 0-6-0 type Live Steam Locomotive – Gas Fired Re-gaugable to either 32mm or 45mm. Built in approx 1993/4 with a works build number of #3 – a real classic. Originally an ex demonstration locomotive from Pearse. The main operational differences with subsequent production models is that the receiver and switch are underneath the cab at the rear; and the batteries are in a holder in the offside tank at the side. Access to the batteries is by removing the body. Instructions for this and operation of the loco are included. Original maroon cellulose paint finish. Perase advused that for maroon touch-up paint, the nearest is LMS Crimson Lake. There are some minor chips here and there and a burn mark as shown in the photos on the front side of the nearside tank and on bottom of front buffer plate. The nearside tank name plate has been glued back on at some point which has left some marks. A minor point – the tie bar between the front sandboxes is missing. The retaining fixings for the hinged cab roof has been re-glued on at some point. Apart from the above, it is in good condition, a shelf queen for most of her life. Radio Control is two-channel Futaba Attack-SR 27MHz handset included in sale. Handset and locomotive take standard AA type batteries – not provided. No charger is included in the sale. Lovely weighty locomotive with good pulling power, as seen from the photos of my original incomplete railway it easily pulled three coaches on the unven track. 6-4-4-6 Steam Engine and Tender. This set appears new to me. Set is very clean and I tested this model and it worked and sounded awesome. I can’t add more then that. It is huge and it is awesome. I thought of one thing. If you haven’t ever heard the FatBoy speakers you need to! Find a friend or go to a shop. These are the best in the industry in my opinion. 3rd Rail Pennsylvania S-1. 6-4-4-6 Steam Engine and Tender. Great looking set that appears new to me. I tested this set and it worked great and sounded great. This is a large offering and requires O-72 to run. I could only test for about two feet because my set-up runs on O-54. You will notice one minor blemish on the cab roof, which I upped the compensation on my camera to get that picture. This set was offered with some of the following features.
