Roundhouse Engineering Charles Pooter Mk1 live steam locomotive with Hackworth valve gear – SM32 gauge only. Early version with circular spectacles which I think dates it to around 1985 or 1986. In lovely original condition with original paint – hard to believe that it is 35 years old. At that time it was possible to specify gas firing rather than meths (both externally fired) and radio control as an option when ordering and this has both factory fitted from new. Radio control is on both the reverser and steam regulator and I have updated it to modern 2.4GHz. There is an additional plug on the backhead that could be used to add a blowdown. It has obviously been very well looked after throughout its life and it doesn’t appear to have seen much use prior to my ownership. Mechanically it is excellent – I’ve steamed it again this week and it ran very nicely in both directions. There is a very slight gas leak from where the needle valve exits which will need some attention by the new owner. Cosmetically it really is excellent for its age. It doesn’t have the wooden dumb buffers. There is a scratch on one of the side tanks just in front of the nameplate. There is a tiny bit of paint loss where the steam dome meets the boiler. There are a couple of very small patches of surface rust on the inside of a couple of the wheels. The red lining is original from the factory – I’m not sure about the white line? Its difficult to find many faults. I also have a dome from that period which I will include which could easily be fitted to the boiler band using a brass rose if you prefer to run with one. Rare G Scale Live Steam Tank Locomotive Collins Pixie. Loco is a Collins Pixie. Many makers have now gone out of production. The loco is vintage design. And build qualities and this Pixie considered to be an 80s version. The Loco is of heavy robust Metal chassis and wheels Construction. Metal dummy tanks and cab. It comes with a Copper boiler. With original brass fittings (unusual to find in G scale) and the first one I have. Another unusual feature is to be found on the underside of the loco. As can be viewed in picture (9), unusually each of the wheels is adjustable. Allowing her to be used on different gauge track. The Copper boiler was originally black, though chose to keep the Copper. For its scarcity and display purposes. Fitted with original pressure valve and. Brass fitted controls in the cab which all move easily and freely. The motion work is smooth and the wheels turn freely. This has been a’Covid Workshop restoration project. The loco has been. Completely stripped, cleaned, etch primed and painted using tradition loco. Originally black I have chosen a more presentable deep bronze. Green, panther black Smoke box, chimney and Cab floor. Inner Cab has been sympathetically upgraded to Ivory Cream. The Loco is larger than most (Mamod types) I have seen, wider and heavier. Dimensions Weight approx. 2kg, Width 10.5cm, Length – 27cm. Live Steam Locomotive 0-4-2 for 16mm G Scale SM32 like Roundhouse Accucraft

Live Steam 0-4-2 Locomotive. Scratch Built Locomotive originally built in 1994 by Brian Watt. Cylinders and motion are original Roundhouse Engineering parts. This locomotive was originally constructed with body side cylinders, with part open bodywork. The original build and subsequent modification were documented in Garden Rail October 1996. Of which copies are enclosed with the locomotive (see pictures). Modifications were made to remove this and place the cylinders in normal positions (also by Brian). This resulted in part length body side fabrication. The last modification was completed in late 1999 to the body and motion seen today. These were also done by Brian Watt and made the loco more “normal”. In 2019 the loco was partly rebuilt, to the same design, to replace some worn out parts. To upgrade the radio control to a Brand New 2.4GHz modern Absima system. And to refresh the, now maroon paintwork. A Rechargeable battery pack provides on board power for the locomotives electrics. No charger is included, any smart charger will be sufficient. The Locomotive is regaugeable for 32mm and 45mm. Currently set to 32mm with a ponytruck wheelset for 32mm. You will need to obtain one wheelset from Roundhouse for 45mm gauge to run at that gauge. The locomotive is standardised gas fired with lubricator and pressure gauge. This locomotive has wonderful 16mm heritage. All original build documentation and publication articles will be provided with the locomotive. Lyn – Lynton & Barnstaple live steam 2-4-2t. A lovely live steam model of Lyn from the Lynton & Barnstaple railway made by Accucraft a few years ago. The loco has steamed a couple of times and steams well. The model is now out of production and can be hard to find second hand. Oco is radio controlled on the reverser only. It has a manual regulator, radio control handset included (batteries not included) but no charger for the loco. Cowcatcher is broke both ends it was like this when i brought it as well. It has steamed twice in my ownership, there is no boiler certificate or other paper work with the loco. 45mm wheel sets are included as the loco is presently set to 32mm gauge. The loco is a good fix me up for someone who fancies a Lyn either fully radio controlled or manual control as the loco could be covered to either. The loco will be well packed to send, but does not have the original box or packing. Any other question regarding please ask. Accucraft’s newest freelance British style saddle tank engine in 1:19 scale. Butane fired live steam. The locomotive is internally gas fired with a centre flue boiler. The model is gauge adjustable from 32mm (O gauge) to 45mm (1 gauge) and has insulated wheels as standard. The axles run in bronze bearings and all the rods and valve gear are manufactured from stainless steel. The cab roof flips up and over sideways to give access to the gas, water and lubricator fillers. Accucraft Trains 7/8ths Scale WW&F Railway Forney #9, Live Steam

Wiscasset, Waterville & Farmington. The Portland Company constructed 0-4-4 Forney #5 in 1891 for the Sandy River Railroad. The locomotive was named N. Neal and operated this way until 1908 when the Sandy River, Franklin & Megantic, Philips & Rangeley, along with their respective subsidiary railroads merged to form the Sandy River & Rangeley Lakes. At this time the loco was renumbered to SR&RL #6. In December 1994, an agreement was reached with the estate for WW&F #9 and its return to Maine for eventual restoration. Over the course of several years the loco was restored and is now featured in regular excursion over a restored section of the railroad. 7/8ths Scale / 45 mm Gauge.
