Sunset Models 3rd Rail. 0-8-8-0 Steam Engine and Tender. This is another awesome brass offering from Sunset Models. This set is equipped with TMCC and sound. This item was very expensive when it was first offered in 2001 and it was limited to 170 offerings. This is production number 129 and there is a brass plaque on the chassis of the engine confirming this information. For a Camelback, it may be the largest I know of. This engine appears new to me and it is very clean. I tested this unit in conventional mode (not Command) and it worked great and sounded awesome. Sorry, but I don’t have any manual or COA (if there was one) for this offering, but the parts bag is in the box. This is a K-Line by Lionel Scale #6-22103 Pennsylvania A-5 0-4-0 Steam Locomotive in rich Brunswick Green paint scheme and Numbered #411, all in the Original Box & Packaging with Instructions. These Unique Little Power Houses (Steam Switcher) were Popular for certain railroads because of its’ size and power. This Engine came out in 2009 as part of the Premium Scale Locomotives that K-Line by Lionel released, which are Limited Quantity. The Engine and Tender are both O Scale 3-Rail Very Highly Detailed Die Cast Body with Die Cast & Metal Frame, Die Cast Trucks and Metal Wheels. It comes equiped with TMCC Command Control, Rail Sounds with Tower Talk and improved effects, Single Flywheel Motor in Powered Unit, Odyssey Speed Control, Traction Tires Too, Nice Puffing Smoke, Cab with Crew Men, Coil Couplers on both Ends of Unit and Directional Headlights, All of the Toys available at that time. The Engine is in Factory New Condition, and the One Owner only Test ran the locomotive so it stayed most time in the box. There is Nothing Missing or Broken, and everything Works Correctly. Lionel did a Superb Job on the Paint, Graphics and Details as can be seen in the photos. These are Truly a Mark of Excellence. Have a Look at all the photos. TrainMaster Command Control equippedable to run in Command Control Mode or in Conventional Transformer Control Mode. Odyssey System for speed control with ON/OFF switch. RailSounds 5.0 sound system with custom recorded effects including. Multi-part CrewTalk dialog and TowerCom announcements to create realistic operating scenarios from pulling out of the yard to initiating an emergency stop. Realistic operator-controlled effects, including the water injector, activated by the CAB-1 Remote Controller. Prototypical four chuffs per revolution. DynaChuff synchronized chuffing that shifts through 15 levels of intensity as the locomotive gains speed. Simulate the locomotive running light or battling against a heavy load by manually adjusting the DynaChuff intensity with CAB-1 commands.
