This one owner engine was in a display case its whole life, I do not think it was run much if at all. It does not have the original box. Please note: This is an old engine, it sat on a shelf or in a box for a long time. While we bench tested it we strongly recommend you do a complete cleaning/lube job on it before you put it in service. We recommend this for any old train before using it, they will last forever but they need a little maintenance once in a while. Please see pictures for details on the condition of the items. AZL Brass 1:220 Spur Z Scale Grey Challenger no 3977 will work on Marklin Z track. This is an extremely rare highly detailed and sought after AZL Brass challenger which is one of only 11 every made! The rear coupling is compatible with micro train and others with this style of knuckle coupling. The model is unmarked in its original packing and has only been on a track for no greater than 5 minutes to check. I have rechecked again before sale and it works perfectly, it will probably benefit from running in as this model is as new. I have seen AZL Brass increase in substantially in value and now it is time to pass mine to a collector of rare and exciting locos. Beautiful Overland Models Reading Class I-8sb 2-8-0 made in Korea by MS Models and imported in 1988. Model is in excellent condition, has been run, and shows light wheel wear. Excellent details with full in cab detail. I would note that the cylinder fronts and boiler front castings are a darker brass alloy. Original box and foam are in excellent condition, and includes spare parts and tool. Lots of original foam has lost its memory or is deteriorating and will not serve its intended purpose. I replace or remove inferior foam, use additional padding, water proof, and wrap with plenty of bubble wrap and air pillows as needed. I use oversized boxes with all seams taped ensuring that you don’t receive a box of “parts”. I pay special attention to my brass items, as many have been cherished for decades, were handmade, and deserve to remain a part of modeling history. Thanks for looking at Cherry Picked Trains! A couple of notes. I take packing seriously! I use bubble wrap, plenty of packing material, and sturdy boxes. Loose cars will be wrapped in tissue paper, then bubble wrap. I make every effort to list as accurately as possible. If you have questions please ask, I respond quickly.
