HO Scale Van Hobbies Brass Custom Painted CNR U1f Class 4-8-2 Mountain Canadian National #6060. It was built in 1976 by Samhongsa in South Korea and is in excellent shape. Has been strictly a display piece by the current owner. Was track tested in our shop and runs well. No tender backup light. It does run OK at slow speeds, but since it has not been broken in over the years it will likely need servicing prior to long term operating if that is the goal. Locomotive was custom (not factory) painted by Proto Paint in Whitby, ONT. Model has appropriate window glazing, knuckle coupler on the tender and on the loco. Here is a Tenshodo 163 HO Scale BRASS ATSG Blue Goose Steam Locomotive and Tender…. This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent. The factory painting is nice; however there are some brush type marks in the silver striping on both pieces. The decals on the silver stripe are also a bit noticeable. A latch style coupler and 6-way coupler pocket are included for the tender. The original box is included with the foam liner. The foam is starting to turn brittle but is still holding it’s shape. The lines are very straight And in the proper location to the prototype. The decaling laid down Over every surface perfectly. Beautiful rivet detail throughout the entire model. The Engine runs very well, smooth and quiet in both directions. This has had a can motor installed. Very nice paint job, a few areas show light paint loss (CHECK PHOTOS CAREFULLY).
