1 INCH SCALE ALLCHIN TRACTION ENGINE. Superb and rare Markie live steam 1 inch scale model of a Burrell traction engine, beautifully detailed with all usual fitments. Spirit fired and only low signs of use (please see photos). Comes with fuel trailer that was optional extra at the time. Comes with expired original boiler certificate and also certificate of manufacture from the factory. The only faults that i can see are the following. Steering chain snapped on one side but replacement present. Lid missing from oil reservoir on top of piston. The bar that the smokebox door handle screws into is detached. The gear selector cogs are a bit loose so will require tightening/spacing. SUPERB LOOKING ENGINE AND COMPLETE WITH FUEL TRAILER. MARKIE 1 INCH SCALE. LIVE STEAM AGRICULTURAL TRACTION ENGINE. An early 1 inch scale Markie (Farnham engineering) live steam traction engine that has seen little use and looks in excellent condition finished in authentic green & red. The engine comes with unused rubber bands for both front and back wheels, instructions, leaflets and a spare pressure gauge with washers. The original boiler certificate from Fareham engineering is also present. T he only faults I can see are that the steering chain is loose so will need wrapping around the turning axle and the allen screw on the bottom gear disc to the driving wheel needs tightening as it is not holding tight to the rear axle hence rear wheels are not turning with engine (I don’t have an allen key that small).
