This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent. There are light nicks, scratches, rub marks, and abrasions on both the locomotive and tender. The locomotive has been repainted by the previous owner and shows a few light signs of brush strokes and a finger print mark on one side of its surface. Although it has been repainted, the paint on both items also shows light signs of wear and chipping. The wheels and underframes of both items show wear from previous use. A box is included for the locomotive however it shows light rips, tears, and wear. The tender does not feature a box. The instruction manual is not included. Here is a Lionel 2056 Vintage O 4-6-4 Steam Locomotive w/ 2046-50W Tender -Repainted from 1952. This is a Korean War hybrid using a Berkshire boiler casting on a Hudson wheel arrangement. Features include a 3-position E-unit, an operating smoke unit and an operating headlight. A 2046-50W tender is included and features die cast trucks, operating rear knuckle coupler, whistle, and metal wheels. Their use would initially find great success on North American railways before eventually becoming mainstays in rail-yards around the world! Overall condition is Excellent.
