DURABLE, WEATHER RESISTANT G SCALE DOUBLE LOCOMOTIVE MAINTENANCE SHED. Built for use with 1:20.3, 1:22.5, 1:24, or 1:29 scale trains, this weather resistant maintenance shed will add a ton of character to any line. Also a perfect way to protect your precious motive power from the elements. Built from naturally rot and insect resistant Western Red Cedar with a PVC roof and foundation, this weather resistant building has been assembled using galvanized fasteners and waterproof adhesives, then it was finished with exterior grade paints and penetrating stains for additional protection and a weathered look. The shed measures 25″ wide by 33″ long, and it stands 15 high. The inside dimension, from door to door, is 30 in length. Four sets of functional double doors swing on brass hinges, and doors can be easily removed if an open air, run through shed is preferred. Durable, water proof PVC foundation and footers won’t rot or wick moisture, and have been carved for the look of quarried stone. Open base design allows this structure to easily be placed over existing track or occasionally removed for track maintenance, etc. The roof is also waterproof PVC, and has been embossed and painted for the look of weathered tin plate. Functional smoke stacks and plenty of ventilation make this shed perfect for trains with smoke units or live steam operations. Integrated low voltage lighting includes a heavy duty copper harness and 10 lights wired in parallel with soldered connections. No power source or external wiring is included, but you can easily connect this building to just about any low voltage power source, including track, accessory, or landscape lighting systems. But about 12volts is perfect. This building includes 6 – pallets, 2 – crates, 1 – bench, 1 oil drum and one pile of railroad ties.
