LGB 2010 Stainz No. 1981 Special Edition from one of the anniversary sets. A nice clean and presentable loco, the odd small mark in places. There were 2x broken cab handles that have been carefully repaired with a drop of glue. This is an early version with lights, but no smoke or sound. Tested, and runs really well. (Could have been used but still no marks). NEAR MINT ; only minor marks, few in number, may well look perfect until you look very closely. EXCELLENT ; nice bright condition, but could have more noticeable marks or a little minor damage(say to one or two pieces of trim). GOOD ; fit for purpose on a layout; i. Runs and can be used, but could have lots of small marks and/or more damage. FAIR ; lots of damage, will need some work to bring up to standard. POOR; really only suited for spares or major repair. All items will be securely and safely packaged for transit; I use tissue paper, bubble wrap and stout card to ensure every item will reach you in the condition it leaves me. Please bear this is mind when comparing prices. Please check my feedback for the quality of items I sell, the accuracy of description and standard of packaging. Bachmann SPECTRUM Two Truck Shay. In generally good used condition. It is a used example, so there are some smaller marks in places and some small bits of missing/broken trim, this is worse around the pipe to the side (some residue also etc) Rear coupling has been changed, and is loose to allow to fit in box. There is a very carefully applied tape line around tender to obscure the lumber part of name this is so carefully done I didn’t notice at first! It has working lights, and sound. Steam, whistles, bells, clangs, etc. Tested on DC analogue and runs well; the motor/chassis’ and wheels/rods etc are superb on these locos. They are a large and very impressive loco running round. Loco starts at a very realistic slow speed, and slowly picks up speed. May have DCC chip, but not 100% sure. G SCALE 45mm 0-6-2 LOCO. A well engineered Accucraft live steam G scale 0-6-2 loco with plaque to underside complete with channel receiver and spare parts you see in the photos. Looks to be gas fired. LOOKS LITTLE USED BUT NO REMOTE. Currently set to 45mm but the driving wheels are easily re-gauged to SM32 using grub screws. The SM32 pony truck is not included but I think the 45mm one should be quite easily changed (see photo). It uses spacers so if the axle was cut cut down and these removed it should be possible. It is also very similar to those found on other Accucraft pony trucks if you have one in your collection. Comes in original box. FROM THE ACCUCRAFT WEBSITE….. Superior is a close cousin of the model of the Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway. This model has internal gas firing with a stainless steel superheater , and the smokebox door opens to aid lighting. The boiler has a water level check valve with the overflow piped away below the frames and the lubricator is fitted with an underfloor drain tap, both of which help to keep the cab free from excess oil and water. The loco is dual gauge and is supplied with alternative pony trucks for 32mm and 45mm gauges (32mm pony truck not included in this sale). It is suitable for adapting to radio control by using a single servo to control the speed/direction valve. The model is built from stainless steel and brass, and with the correct maintenance, will give a lifetime of pleasure. Scale: 16mm to 1 foot (1:19). Gauge: 32mm (O Gauge) or 45 mm (Gauge 1). Minimum radius: 30 (0.75m). Controls fitted as standard: steam regulator/reverser, safety valve (set to 60psi), pressure gauge, displacement lubricator, water level check valve and gas regulator. Cylinders: bore 1/2 (12.7mm), piston stroke 3/4 (19mm). Valve gear: Simulated Stephenson link, piston reverse valve controlled by lever in cab. All rods and valve gear are manufactured from stainless steel. Boiler: internally gas fired, stainless steel superheater, opening smokebox door. Made by Bowande, this is a lovely compact live steam loco to an American “Porter” 0-4-0 Saddle Tank Locomotive design. 45mm Gauge, this is not convertible. Twin cylinder inside Stephensons link Gas Fired centre flue boiler. Boiler fitted with safety valve, water level gauge, pressure gauge, regulator and whistle. In-line displacement lubricator also fitted. The loco comes complete with its original box and paperwork. It appears these are no longer made.
