HO scale NJCB VIrginian 2-10-10-2 Nice Rare! Super train shows little signs of use. Foam was gone so I cut my own high density foam that works well. Test runs well on my straight track (see videos below). Couldn’t do turns as I have 18 radius. Westside Models Company Santa Fe 2-10-10-2 locomotive and tender made by Katsumi in Japan and imported in 1976. Nice model of unusual prototype. Model is in good condition, brass has light tarnish, wheels show little if any wear. There is a spot of red laquer stain on tender toolbox on engineer side. Tested and runs well, model is fairly noisy. 3 parts packs, and uninstalled boiler weight included. Original box in great condition, foam discarded. Lots of original foam has lost its memory or is deteriorating and will not serve its intended purpose. I replace or remove inferior foam as needed, use additional padding, water proof, and wrap with plenty of bubble wrap and air pillows. I use oversized boxes with all seams taped ensuring that you don’t receive a box of “parts”. I pay special attention to my brass items, as many have been cherished for decades, were handmade, and deserve to remain a part of modeling history. Thanks for looking at Cherry Picked Trains! A couple of notes. This will alert me to invoice you with an adjusted total. I take packing seriously! I use bubble wrap, plenty of packing material, and sturdy boxes. Loose cars will be wrapped in tissue paper, then bubble wrap. I make every effort to list as accurately as possible. If you have questions please ask, I respond quickly.
