Plus, the model features the high-gloss finish of a beautifully restored loco. But the digital sound of this LGB loco is even more impressive than the sight. As the loco starts, you can hear the whooshing of the steam as it leaves the cylinders. The whistle sounds twice, and the loco starts moving with slow, powerful exhaust chuffs. Hear it and you´ll be hooked! The Prototype Forney locomotives were popular in North America during the late 19th century. This one owner engine was in a display case its whole life, I do not think it was run much if at all. It does not have the original box. Please note: This is an old engine, it sat on a shelf or in a box for a long time. While we bench tested it we strongly recommend you do a complete cleaning/lube job on it before you put it in service. We recommend this for any old train before using it, they will last forever but they need a little maintenance once in a while. Please see pictures for details on the condition of the items.
