Kato/Peco 009 51-251A Small England “Princess” Maroon. 009 gauge; runs on N gauge track. Comprising a cast metal chassis and plastic injection molded components the DCC ready model is set to feature a flywheel-equipped coreless motor in the locomotive driving the rear coupled axle with electrical pick-up from all wheels (including the tender). The model has been designed for use around curves no less than 217mm radius with Peco OO9 couplings fitted at standard. Newly released model from a joint project between Kato and Peco: a much anticipated arrival in partnership with the Ffestiniogg themselves, this model of the iconic Small England locomotive is beautifully finished. It offers two types of couplings in the box. Lots of separately fitted but very sturdy detail. No DCC socket is installed but can be hard wired with the know-how.
