This listing is for a Key Imports N-Scale BRASS 2-8-2 H-10a New York Central. Engine is undecorated, brass finish does have some tarnish but not an issue if you intend to paint. Has been sitting in it’s box for years, the engine was tested and at first was a little stiff, I applied a small drop of lubricant to each of the metal gears and tested again. The engine started to run much better, the older brass engines which have metal gears do need some break-in time, usually fifteen to twenty minutes in each direction at a medium speed usually results a good running engine. Engine appears to be in excellent condition, looks like very little run time on the wheels. Comes in original box which does have minor self wear and includes parts pack.
