Lionel O Scale Baltimore & Ohio #7600 EM-1 Steam Locomotive #2031100. Well, I must say, they have everything! Such were the remarks of B&O’s President White upon inspecting the first EM-1. Despite a preference for diesels, the B&O was allocated the new steam locomotives by the Wartime Production Board. They would be the last and largest steam locomotives delivered to the B&O and many argued they were among the best. Equipped with all of the most advanced features available for the time, the powerful locomotives were designed to make use of every inch of space allotted by the B&O’s tight clearance restrictions. Smaller than their older 2-8-8-4 Yellowstone cousins in the west due to tight tunnel and bridge clearances, the EM-1 was no less impressive. Crews respected them for their power, efficiency and especially smooth ride. Ultimately, their reign on the mountains would be brief – snuffed out by the diesels the B&O always wanted. Like the prototype, these Lionel models have everything you could want! Equipped with both LEGACY and Bluetooth, they are easy to control from your LEGACY or TMCC cab, Universal Remote, LionChief App or transformer. Dual speakers make great use of LEGACY RailSounds and the model is equipped with stack and whistle steam effects. Control switches are all conveniently located under the sand dome. This is a Legendary Lionel 763E Semi-Scale Hudson… This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good. This locomotive and tender are in AMAZING shape! This would be graded EXCELLENT if not for a few minor issues. The locomotive is missing the drawbar pin. The headlight lens is cracked. There is a nick in the boiler by the whistle. There are a few nicks on the loco. The tender wires have been soldered. One wire is bare. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. Check the photos for a detailed look at this item. Overall condition is Very Good. Lionel 763E Vintage O Lionel Lines Semi-Scale Hudson Steam Locomotive w/2226W T. This is a Legendary Lionel 763E Semi-Scale Hudson Steam Locomotive with Tender from 1937-42. This is the Semi-Scale Version of the famous 700E Scale Hudson. It differs from the 700e in having wheel flanges which work on regular Lionel tubular track, fewer piping and accessory details on the engine, and a smaller tender. Despite the reduction in attachments from the 700E, the engine features an enormous amount of detail. The tender has a whistle, and the locomotive has the 3-position e-unit. It will only run on curves 72 inch diameter or larger. The 763 ranks just behind the 700E on many collector’s wish lists. Lionel O Gauge 763E black semi-scale Hudson locomotive and 2226W tender from circa 1941-2. Loco has been serviced and works well; tender whistle works. Castings are all good. Frame is straight and theres a nice gap under the cowcatcher (see photos). 2226W tender is known for having a high coupler. Paint is in Excellent to Excellent Plus (C7 to C7+) condition, however the lettering on the loco is a bit weak. In overall Excellent (C7) condition. Great for the operator to run on a layout! Lionel OO/00 gauge 2 rail semi-scale set with 004 locomotive, 004W tender, 0074 box car, 0075 silver tank car & 0077 caboose. The loco is rubber-stamped 5432 in silver below the cab window, and 004 on the inside of the cab roof. Came with a twelve wheel New York Central tender stamped 004W on the bottom. Includes the original box for the 0074 box car. This set is for use on two rail track. This example is in Excellent (C7) condition. The engine probably has the wrong screws on front & rear trucks (see pictures). The motor runs but definitely need servicing. The E unit lockout pin is missing so loco runs forward only.
