Deluxe diecast scale-detailed loco is 12 long, second only to the 763E Hudsons of the era. Loco is original/complete, but 2 side-marker jewels are missing from cast markers. One corner of cab roof has a slight bend and paint chip, balance of loco has only light wear/dirt, looks VG+. Rods have some very light corrosion spots. Loco has Baldwin Disc drive wheels and features headlight and red firebox light. Other scale features include turned handrail stanchions, bell trim, applied piping. It ran smooth when bench tested reverse unit was a bit sticky, may need cleaning, lights worked. All Items, including N. (new-old-stock), are graded and represented as vintage collectibles. Operational ability and characteristics or completeness of vintage motors, mechanisms, wiring, bulbs etc are not guaranteed. We do not guarantee coupler operation. The Lionel BR50 is a true-scale locomotive and it incorporates… New and unique technology…. The Lionel BR50 locomotive model is constructed of formed and fabricated brass sheet and therefore must be handled differently than a traditional diecast Lionel steam locomotive. Lionel 6-18005 New York Central 1-700E 4-6-4 Hudson Locomotive. This is an Lionel 6-18005 New York Central 1-700E 5340 4-6-4 Hudson Locomotive. This steam engine is in beautiful mint condition overall and has only been very lightly test run previously. The colors on the locomotive are in excellent condition. A stick-on white stripe has been added. Should be easy to remove, already loose on one end. The original instructions are included with the locomotive. The original box is in excellent condition and does not have any tears or missing flaps. Operating smoke from the stack and steam chest. Button for bell sound activation. Spoked drivers with wheel rims. Remote controlled forward, neutral and reverse operation. Separate grab rails and handrails. Retrofit standard Lionel coupler. I have not test the engines. They have been sitting for years and will need a proper lube job. After you receive your item, you must be 5 star SATISFIED. We will do everything possible to make it right. PREWAR LIONEL 227 SEMI-SCALE 0-6-0 DIE CAST PRR STEAM SWITCHER WITH 2227B BELL RINGING TENDER. LOT DESCRIPTION: As the title says this lot consists of a Prewar Semi-scale Lionel 227, 0-6-0, Die Cast Pennsylvania Railroad steam switcher with the correct matching 2227B Bell ringing Tender that was made in the early 1940s.. The locomotive has a operating headlight and automatic front coupler and the die cast tender has the all metal staple end trucks with coil coupler and it also has the bell ringing feature and a back up light. Both pieces are all original Post War Lionel including all original paint, letters and numbers. DESCRIPTION OF CONDITION: The locomotive and tender are both in collector quality condition. The loco casting is perfect, no breaks, cracks or chips. Both classification lights (often broken off) are perfect as are the front cowcatcher steps. No rust or missing parts, great color, numbers nice and clear, drive rods and wheels all fine as is the front coupler. The tender too looks fine, no cracks, breaks or chips on the shell, lettering nice and sharp, coupler in great shape. Wires to connect the tender to the loco are fine. No real issues here at all, hardly a mark on the set. Again, a really great looking set that IMHO I would rate as in C-7, excellent plus condition but look at the pictures and you be the judge for the pictures are an important part of the description and say more than my words ever can. WORKING CONDITION: I have cleaned, serviced and tested the locomotive and it runs and reverses just fine, a little slow but probably just needs ran (been packed away for the past 50+ years), the headlight works fine, the e-unit cycles fine, the belling ringer works fine and, the tender rear light works too. I usually leave feedback once every 7 to 10 days and only after I have received feedback. LOOK AT THE PICTURES, READ THE DESCRIPTIONS. Leaving negative feedbacks without first trying to resolve the issue is not to neither of our benefits. Ask now, not after you have won the item!
