Sunset Models 3rd Rail. 0-8-8-0 Steam Engine and Tender. This is another awesome brass offering from Sunset Models. This set is equipped with TMCC and sound. This item was very expensive when it was first offered in 2001 and it was limited to 170 offerings. This is production number 129 and there is a brass plaque on the chassis of the engine confirming this information. For a Camelback, it may be the largest I know of. This engine appears new to me and it is very clean. I tested this unit in conventional mode (not Command) and it worked great and sounded awesome. Sorry, but I don’t have any manual or COA (if there was one) for this offering, but the parts bag is in the box. This is vintage 1990s and in good solid collection. No cracks or breaks. Train and tender measure about 24. Comes in original factory box with original packaging. Box is very solid and mint. There is no paperwork. Very good overall condition. Ready for your G Scale BIG TRAIN. Both pieces look complete but their could be some little detail missing. Very clean, estate fresh from serious collector. The writing on the box is from previous 1 owner. Train needs dusted off. This set is very solid and complete but it is vintage and mechanical and may require tinkering etc. This is not a BRAND NEW TRAIN, but it is a really nice lightly used train. Williams Southern Pacific Cab Forward #4294 Steam Engine. This is a Williams Southern Pacific Cab Forward #4294 Steam Engine. The steam engine is in beautiful mint condition overall and does not show signs of having been run previously. The locomotive is made from brass and shows nice details. The steam engine is conventional and does not have any sounds. This locomotive would be a perfect candidate for an upgrade to either MTH or Lionel Command. The original box is not included with the locomotive. The original instructions are not included with the locomotive. NOTE: This item is from a collection, mostly from 1992 to 2000, that were displayed with no run time. The items are just a little dusty. I gave the engines a short test run on 4′ of track to check the basic functions. I did not test the smoke units (left them in an off position, if they had a switch). They have been sitting for 20 or so years and will need a proper lube job. The rubber tires may be cracked and need replacing. After you receive your item, you must be 5 star SATISFIED.
