The locomotive is operational we did not test the smoke function. The only damage we could find was on the coal car the rear ladder appears to be missing one side of the upper loop clearly shown in photo’s. The entire thing is brass and it is again all there. The original box and packaging is in very good condition with no rips or tears in the box, and only few minor scuffs here and there. It reads “Rio Grande HOn3 2-8-0 K-27″. As for condition again we are not experts and we have done our best to provide photo’s of the item for you to make your decision.
