Westside Models Company Long Island Railroad G5s 4-6-0 ten wheeler by Katsumi in Japan. The Long Island G5s was built by Pennsylvania Railroad and modeled after their G5, although it used a K4 tender. This model is in excellent condition and runs well; wheels show no wear. Original box is in great condition, middle foam has been replaced. Box paperwork, and two original parts packs are included. Model has light tarnish. Lots of original foam has lost its memory or is deteriorating and will not serve its intended purpose. I replace or remove inferior foam, use additional padding, water proof, and wrap with plenty of bubble wrap and air pillows as needed. I use oversized boxes with all seams taped ensuring that you don’t receive a box of “parts”. I pay special attention to my brass items, as many have been cherished for decades, were handmade, and deserve to remain a part of modeling history. Thanks for looking at Cherry Picked Trains! A couple of notes. I take packing seriously! I use bubble wrap, plenty of packing material, and sturdy boxes. Loose cars will be wrapped in tissue paper, then bubble wrap.
