Heavy and beautifully detailed American prototype loco and tender. Runs quietly and smoothly forward and reverse with directional lighting. Sound is a bit erratic. Sometimes you hear the air pump sounds on startup and sometimes a short whistle blast but not always. I installed a 9 volt alkaline battery in the tender which seemed to help a bit. Includes box and interior Styrofoam packing but no paperwork. Grades C-8 Like New by Train Collectors Assn. My TCA number is 86-23651. Product number OMI 1475 HO Scale CNJ class M2as 2-8-2 mikado without the Elesco feed water heater with class V coal tender. This locomotive was professionally painted and nicely weathered. Test run and runs very well. Look closely at the photos to see the weathering detail. This locomotive was leased to the Ontario & Western for a period of time in the late 1940s.
