Items will be wrapped in bubble wrap to protect them as needed from deteriorating foam. These are not toys and most are over 40 years old. Please note that I do not have the ability or inclination to test each and every one of these units. My dad never owned a piece of track and did not get to realize his Great Northern railroad in his retirement so, good or bad, these locomotives are as he bought them all those years ago. Having said that, there may be issues that are well known in the community with deteriorating plastic parts or known mechanical or quality control issues with manufacturers over the years that are well documented on the internet. This is a wonderful hobby and I’ve met many fabulous people so I certainly don’t want any unhappy customers.
