For those that are interested in railroad history, the history of the New Haven Railroad is one big soap opera, “a real train wreck” (poor choice of words) but the mark this railroad left on the New England states still fascinates a new generation of railfans and modelers which is why the Division Point still continues to produce New Haven models today though the railroad has been gone for almost 45 years. Offered here is the New Haven 0511, an Alco RS2 equipped with a steam generator and train control equipment. I have one 0505 left but ask first as I do train shows also and that one may disappear. The locomotive is finished in Pullman green and orange, as delivered by Alco in 1948. The locomotive you will receive is the one pictured and it will come in its original box and is ready to run. Though I unwrapped it for the photos you will be the first one to open the throttle. Let me know what you are looking for and I see some more CNJ RSD4s and Cotton Belt RS3s in your future.
